Tems Delivers Massively At Agganis Arena
Temilade Openiyi better known as Tems, brought her 2024 tour, Born in the Wild to Boston this past Wednesday. Boston was honored with her angelic, Grammy Award winning voice. Winner for best Melodic Rap, Tems, brought out contagious energy with her at the Agganis Arena, in Boston, Ma. Brining the Nigerian culture out to Boston was needed this past Wednesday, as fans were passionately singing and dancing together as one.
Riding with along Tems this tour. Singer, producer, and songwriter, Lekan, opened for Boston. His strong and diverse voice blew the crowd away with excitement performing singles, So You Know, 614, and Pray for Me. With a voice that Lekan has, there will be no time before he is headlining his own tour. He brings a strong stage presence that is hard to not be amazed by.
To the stage design, lighting, costumes, and production, Tems and her team definitely know how to do it best. With an intricate set design, as an audience member you yourself felt transformed into the wild. Wheat plants were present on stage with the background of a beautiful desert sunset. Golden lighting glared down on her as she gave her performance. Tems had a beautiful stage outfit to go with her performance. Layered diamond crystal necklaces shone in the stage lights, her dress sparkled and dazzled in your eyes, and her hair blew in the wind as her voice echoed the walls of Agganis Arena.
With a sold-out show, Boston can happily say they got to see THE Tems give an unforgettable experience fans will always remember. Solidifying her award as best melodic rapper.
