Ty Myers - Leader Bank Pavilion
Concert Review: Ty Myers with Laine Gardner and Alex Lambert
Some shows just feel different from the start, and this was one of them. From the opening act all the way through the headliner, the night felt like you were watching artists who are right on the edge of something bigger.
Alex Lambert – Setting the Tone
Alex Lambert opened things up and did exactly what you want from an opener he pulled people in. His set was stripped down and real, no extra flash, just solid songs and a voice that carried across the room. You could tell pretty quick people weren’t just waiting for the next act anymore they were locked in. That’s not easy to do early in the night, but he made it happen.
Laine Gardner – Stealing the Spotlight
Laine Gardner came out next and took things up a level. Her voice is unreal live strong, controlled, and full of emotion. She has that ability to completely quiet a room one minute and then bring it right back up the next. By the end of her set, it felt less like a support slot and more like a co-headliner moment. She’s got serious presence, and it showed.
Ty Myers – The Main Event
Then Ty Myers hit the stage, and you could feel the shift instantly. He came out swinging with “Never Get Tired (of Loving You),” and right away the crowd was in it.
One of the cooler moments early on was his take on “Please Come to Boston.” It was simple, honest, and let his voice do all the work, one of those songs where the whole room just kind of settles in and listens.
From there, he kept things moving with a smooth run covering “Feathered Indians,” then rolling right into “Leaving Carolina” without missing a beat. It didn’t feel like separate songs as much as one continuous moment, and it worked.
He switched things up again with “Valerie,” giving it his own feel while keeping that groove everyone knows. It was one of those songs where you could see people start to loosen up and just enjoy it.
And then came the big one “Message to You.” The second he played the opening note, the place lost it. Everyone knew what was coming, and the reaction said it all. Loud, energetic, and one of those moments where the crowd takes over.
What really stood out all night, though, was how real he kept everything. No over-the-top talking points, no forced moments just playing music and connecting with people. His vocals were solid all night, and the band behind him filled everything out without ever taking away from the songs.
Final Thoughts
Top to bottom, this was just a solid show. Alex Lambert got things going, Laine Gardner made a serious impression, and Ty Myers delivered in a big way.
If you get a chance to catch this lineup, it’s worth it. This felt like one of those shows you look back on later and realize you saw these artists before they really took off.
