The Pixies Sound Perfect at Xfinity Center

I admittedly have never really listened to them at all. I enjoyed myself despite it not being my cup of tea. They sounded on point and delivered well. Black sounded good for his age like his career hadn’t skipped a beat.

As The Pixies closed their set with an encore that included “Where is my Mind and a “cover by Neil Young “Winterlong,” the amphitheater erupted in cheers and applause, a testament to the band's enduring influence and the timeless appeal of their music. With a sense of fulfillment and nostalgia lingering in the air, fans departed into the night, carrying with them memories of a magical evening spent with one of alternative rock's most revered bands.
